I can see Clearer now…

Ferguson & Company recently advised the Soilèir Group in its acquisition of the Clearer Water brand.

Established as a social enterprise company, Clearer has championed a mixed ability workforce in providing training and employment opportunities for socially disadvantaged young people in Northern Ireland.

Clearer Water is a natural stone filtered alkaline spring water taken from a deep aquifer at Maghermorne, Co. Antrim. The water is of exceptional quality with a pH of 7.8 and rich in essential minerals, supplying premium bottled water across Northern Ireland and with a small footprint in England.

James Ferguson, who led on the deal at Ferguson & Company, commented:

Having worked with Ross and Sitki in the London market for several years, we were delighted to assist them in this acquisition closer to home. We look forward to working with Soilèir as they grow the Clearer brand in Northern Ireland and beyond.

The Soilèir Group was co-founded by Ross Lazaroo-Hood and Sitki Gelman of the Landmark Insurance Group, alongside their charity, The RUSA Foundation, with a simple concept of helping drinks brands move into new territories.

Co-Chairman of the Soilèir Group, Ross Lazaroo-Hood, said:

Clearer is a growing brand in Northern Ireland - known for its premium, ethical bottled water - with a passion to be recognised further afield. At Soilèir, we see the growing demand for exceptional bottled water. We will be setting out a wide range of expansion plans, building the Company over the short to long term future that will see growth for the brand and bringing more mixed ability career opportunities. Sitki and myself would like to thank James and his team on their exceptional and professional work throughout the process.
